Collingwood is one of 16 ports across the province that will welcome the TALL SHIPS® and the TALL SHIPS CHALLENGE® Great Lakes 2013 Series to its shores during this summer-long commemoration of a defining moment in Canadian history. Step aboard for a deck tour of the ships, watch the Parade of Sail, enjoy the War of 1812 land activities, interactive displays, live musical entertainment, and special activities throughout Downtown. Welcome to the Theatre by the Bay’s 12th season of live entertainment in downtown Barrie. Our 2013 season is rich with themes of love, friendship and family. Our Main Stage production of the classic American musical 'Crazy for You' and the 50’s style production of 'Romeo and Juliet' performed by our Intermediate Company are sure to have audiences falling head over heels. Our Young Company will be performing 'Munsch Ado About Nothing', an adaptation by Debbie Patterson based on the stories of Robert Munsch. This production is a fun, wacky and slightly irreverent exploration of childhood, families and friendship told through the outrageous stories of one of Canada’s best-loved authors. Our 12th season would not be complete without a whole host of special events and educational workshops taking place throughout the year.
