    Tall Ships 1812 Tour


  • AUGUST 16-18

    Commemorate the War of 1812 Bicentennial in Collingwood. Experience the breathtaking power and beauty of authentic Tall Ships when they sail into Collingwood Harbour August 16-18, 2013. Along with onboard deck tours and evening dockside receptions (tickets required), there are free activities including War of 1812 re-enactments, interactive displays, live music, and much more!

    Deck Tours
    Want to experience these majestic ships up close?

    Purchase a ticket for a Deck Tour! Avoid long line-ups in hopes of stepping aboard a majestic Tall Ship. Reserve your guaranteed Deck Tour time today! Buy your Deck Tour tickets today and step aboard for a guided tour and chance to speak with the crew members. Tickets are only $7 per person, per ship (tax and fees included). Tours are at assigned times so there’s no need to wait in long lines. Choose to tour one or more of the ships at the times most convenient for you. Just arrive 10 minutes in advance of your tour time to receive your boarding pass and official ship’s stamp. Slip-resistant footwear required. No high heels. Rain or Shine.

    Please note that most Tall Ships are not wheelchair accessible and access to them will require traversing steep stairs and/or ramps. Organizers will endeavour to provide dockside interpretation for guests unable to board the ships.

    Dockside Receptions

    Want to spend more time with the Tall Ships?

    Reserve a seat at one of three Dockside Receptions! Spend a warm summer evening on the North Wharf. Enjoy cocktails and a gourmet meal, dockside of the Tall Ships. Your dinner is followed by a private deck tour, and live music into the night. There are three receptions from which to choose – see the schedule of events for complete details. Tickets are only $88 per person (tax and fees included) and are limited to 100 for each reception. Rain or Shine.

    ABOUT THE TALL SHIPS 1812 TOUR

    Collingwood is one of 15 Ontario ports that are part of The TALL SHIPS® 1812 Tour, presented by Redpath Sugar.  This tour, produced in partnership with the TALL SHIPS CHALLENGE® Great Lakes 2013 series, features tall ships from around the world. From June 14 to September 2, you can tour the decks of the majestic fleet of ships, participate in War of 1812 interactive experiences, enjoy live musical performances, and much more.
