Event Date(s): February 20, 2017
Location: Surrounding Area

Description: Every year Canadians live through the long winter season. Spending days shoveling, scraping, and walking through the snow. This Family Day embrace the winter weather and join us at the Simcoe County Museum for some good old fashioned Canadian fun.

Dress in your warmest clothes and pack your favourite toboggan for a day filled with sledding, snowshoeing, and so much more. Love a competition? Then test your abilities with our many challenges including farthest distance, most unique, and oldest toboggan. Not interested in a competition? You can still participate in all of the activities at your own pace and explore the Museum's indoor galleries.
