Led by the talented Brian Buckrell, this small group two-day workshop will expose 12 students to techniques used for planning and developing a strong landscape painting. It is designed for the serious beginner (with painting experience) to the intermediate painter interested my approach to planning and interpreting the landscape. For acrylic and oil painters. Demos will be done in acrylics.

We will begin with a review/discussion of the fundamentals. We will plan a painting leading to best compositional choices using a supplied reference. We will then develop and critique the painting together.

The second day students will work under supervision from their own reference using the principles developed. Demos will be done. We end with a final critique and discussion.
